Dora Mejia, Vice President of Sales, and Operations for Enterprise & Emerging Markets in Latin America at SpeedCast

Dora has been at the forefront of SpeedCast's sales leadership in Latin America since early 2016, following SpeedCast's acquisition of Newcom International. Her journey with NewCom began in 2004, contributing significantly to the company's growth and establishing it as a major player in the global communications industry.

With over 15 years of experience in integrated global telecommunications, Dora brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Prior to her tenure at NewCom, she spent three years at Verestar, where she played a pivotal role in overseeing terrestrial network optimization and product development for the teleport operator's offices in Europe and the U.S. Her responsibilities included managing the engineering team, overseeing pricing, and leading vendor negotiations. Before her time at Verestar, Dora successfully operated her own telecommunications consulting firm, specializing in helping companies optimize their communication solutions.

Dora's career began in Colombia with the Carvajal Group, where she held a key role in budget planning, vendor negotiations, and the implementation of satellite and IP networks. Her diverse experiences contribute to her dynamic leadership in the telecommunications industry.
